This image was taken from Mid Journey and is not my work. Regardless this has a definite Johannes Vermeer cast to it and it strikes me as an impressive visual portrayal of a pensive young woman. Does she see the future of AI?

I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream

Mid Journey was directed to create a character from the Harlan Ellison story of the same name. Although it is nothing like the book, it has that 1970s camp feel that you would see on countless sci-fi novels.

Quiet reflection. The interior of a spaceship based on both Battlestar Galactica and Space 1999.

This was one of my first attempts at creating a fantasy character that attempted to push past the elves seen in Pathfinder.

05 Lady of Lake St. Claire. I based this on the intersection of King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake and the Motor City.

06 Den. A merchant pilot back from a trade run relaxing with his family.

07 USCS Nostromo. Its a mix of ALIEN and STAR WARS. Notice the busy console and the lack of ergonomics. This has 70s space opera all over it.

08 Legion of Gold. This was done in the style of Jeff Dee and is based on the Gamma World module of the same name.

09 Blue and the Gray. A soldier sitting back and checking her weapon. Gray armor or blue you can bet her counterpart is probably doing the same. Like the hair but in reality, it would get in the way. The AI has standards, I guess.

10 Moment of Mint. A soldier either shortly before or after action. She is crushing a piece of mint in her hand in an attempt to trigger an olfactory response and separate from the smell of sweat and dirt for a few moments.

11 Invasion 1976. Not mine though its awesome anyway. It looks like a cover from an experimental psychedelic album cover from 1970. Regardless its original.

12 Gate 9. Two pilots relaxing before the terminal starts loading up their ship with cargo.

13 Don Quixote. Awesome piece. Giant, paladin and a child. I picked this up from another artist.

14 Man in Reflection. This reminds me of the block print in Elsevier.

15 Laura Palmer. This lead to the imagery for Assa II. It came out looking like my concept of Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks.

16 Beautiful. Just like a Space X lanuch or one of many rocketship launches from 1950s sci-fi.

17 Firefight. Graphic Novel Cover. Although it is intense it's also sloppy.

18 French Door. Another image I did not do. It was from a French designer hence the name. It beautiful but not original. It looks like a cover for a childs book.

19 Turlington. Beautiful piece and I thought it was really odd it chose Christy Turlington. Maybe it knew I had a crush in the 1990s?

20 SAN Loss. This piece is the better of the two (see 17 Firefight). Intense with deep emotion on both characters faces.

21 Code 10-999: This image was taken from Mid Journey and attempts to comingle HPL and Frank Miller. Its two cops fighting their way out of something dark in a city much like Arkham, Mass. The colors are all AI and add a sense of burning, of violence, of chaos. Guns are drawn and ammunition has been expended. Something is wrong.

22 Code 5150: This image was taken from Mid Journey and attempts to comingle HPL and Frank Miller. The colors are all AI and are much darker that he previous example and add a sense of insanity. PSTD is definitely around the corner and both cops are at each others throats. Why? Good cops should never enter Arkham after 6:00 PM.

23 Fey. Image that was taken from Mid Journey. Probably one of the most beautiful pieces of art I have seen out of the program.

24 New World. Image that reflects an almost storybook concept of either an alien world or a storybook fantasy. Lighting is awesome as are the colors.

25 Pavlov. An idea for a story I am writing. Think Cyberpunk meets Post Apocalyptic Urals.

26 Assa II. Thoughtful young woman. This was after the finger erasing issues on Mid Journey but it took me many attempts to get full limbs.

27 New Miami. Beautiful. The original was done in airbrush, and it failed. It looks better with pen, ink and watercolor.

28 Noodle Shop I. Sedate cyberpunk scenery in downtown Los Angeles circa 2300 AD. I prompted it for something like "Nighthawks". I like it.

29 Noodle Shop II. Oddest part about this imagery is that I reran (28 Noodle Shop I) and I get LEOs sitting down to a late-night meal.

30 White Queen This was based on an idea using Bill Sienkiewicz's art as a concept base.
