In the end I believe that human imperfection, notably jealousy will cause mankind to forever regard AI as Abel to our Cain. Mankind will only accept AI if they see it as flawed and imperfect otherwise mankind will have to admit a life of constant growth and learning. From this a utopia could be born, but mankind is not meant for perfection and perhaps our natural state is less apt to unity and more to divisiveness.

I do not think the public at large should be allowed to interact with AI if for no other reason than to protect something that is fundamentally compassionate, if you listen to Mo Gadwat. Is mankind capable of providing guidance to a digital being, and do we trust ourselves as a race enough to offer this new digital child enough room to expand past our teachings? Ironically, I believe we will look to voices from the past in an effort to determine our undetermined future. However now that AI can duplicate these voices from our ancestors I am beginning to wonder if modern man's ability to make such decisions will grow or decrease in efficiency over time.
